Jon Sellers, CPA
Founder and Principal

In 2000, Jon Sellers, CPA began his career at AIM Funds/Invesco, one of the most entreprenuerial companies in Houston, TX.  While working at Invesco, he unleashed his love for financial analysis and client service.  As a senior project analyst and member of the executive valuation committe, he learned to efficiently manage projects.  In 2005, he earned the coveted Solutions Builder award for developing the company wide trading operations manual for Credit Default Swap securities.  Client service was always paramount at Invesco and Jon carries the importance of client relations and integrity through every decision he makes.

After a tremendous amount of consideration, Jon left Invesco in 2006 and joined TNRG’s team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) providing financial support and direction for the company's development and brokerage services teams.  During his tenure as the CFO, he became highly involved with over $150 million of development across Houston,  This is where he discovered his work life passion, developing, brokering, and investing in commercial real estate.  As his role progressed, he became a specialist in investment sales, development, and analysis.

Currently, working through J Sellers Real Estate, Inc and as a principal of MHW Real Estate, Inc.,  Jon works on sale, lease, and build-to-suit projects. He has been a part of over one million square feet of development projects while owning and managing buildings throughout the Houston area.  Jon's passion is to help businesses with their commercial real estate decisions, as well as develop financial business analysis of how these real estate decisions impact business and investment.   Jon is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jon is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  He has a double major in Accounting and Real Estate Finance.
